Welcome Paolo Broggio!

Today, Paolo Broggio from Roma Tre University (Rome, Italy) arrived. He is beginning his research stay as a Senior Research Fellow at the Leibniz Institute of European History (IEG) in Mainz.
Until December 19, 2025, he will be conducting research on »The Obsession with Purity. Blood, Faith and Social Order in the Ibero-Atlantic World (15th–17th Centuries)«.

On December 2, 2025, Broggio will present his project at the IEG's public research colloquium.
